About Me

With over 15 years experience in early years teaching I have worked in many different learning environments from nursery through to reception class. My most recent position was as Head of Nursery at Devonshire House Preparatory School, Hampstead. My role included overseeing the care and development of 48 children a day.

I set up Ready Steady School after having my own child and having used my experience to help and guide an ever growing brood of nieces and nephews!

Why choose Ready, Steady, School?

We all have busy lives with so much to get through in a normal day that it can be hard to ensure that your child is reaching their true potential.

When learning children often respond better to someone who is not a family member (a bit like learning to drive!) and that's where we come in.

The Ready Steady School course will introduce new ways of learning to complement the activities you do with your child in everyday family life. The course will give them more confidence and you will be happier knowing they are getting off to a flying a start.

What people say about me.

"My daughter Maddie loved her Ready Steady School time. Not only did she have fun she quickly learnt to count to 10 and her pencil control really improved" - Rebecca

"I would really recommend Mrs Samuel's friendly, professional approach to learning. As a busy, working mum I felt that Felix needed something extra to his playgroup and Ready Steady School certainly contributed to his happy start to school." - Claire

"A brilliant way to get your child concentrating, learning and having a good time all at once!" - Lisa

"I was initially worried that sessions would be too formal for my boisterous 4 year old but in fact my daughter loved the attention and enjoyed all the learning activities and games." - Sarah.
